The long days and tirelessness with which Gareth works are evidence that he loves what he does, as a master artist in his studio. As the client this brings an incredible amount of joy, not only in watching his work come together but in knowing that such a love of one’s work will no doubt bring the project to certain completion in good time and to his very exacting standards. It is incredible what Gareth manages to accomplish in a matter of days; it is a miracle what he can do in a season.
To watch your property grow more green, lush, well manicured and, quite frankly, magical, is such a treat when Gareth is at work! His stonework is supreme and is the #1 feature for which our newly constructed home receives compliments. Our stone porch, pathways, and rock features in the landscaping he designed draw us out of the house and invite us to live and play in the nature that surrounds us. There is a peace that descends upon even our young children as we engage with our personal oasis, transformed by Gareth from a veritable construction swamp, in just one season. Whether it’s leveling a lawn; adding interest or a seasonal surprise with rock configurations, stepping stones, moss microcosms, variegated native plantings, the perfect tree, or simply a clean edge; growing the greenest grass and nourishing it from the (under)ground up; laying show-stopping stonework that harmonizes a home with its natural surroundings; or situating a treehouse perfectly between woods and home with kid-friendly landscaping: Gareth is the man. I am certain that no homeowner will be disappointed with any project that fuses his deep understanding of the earth with the rustic yet refined aesthetic sensibility that makes his work so uniquely timeless. (Oh, and he’s a really nice guy to have around, too!)
